Executive Leadership Committee

The Executive Leadership Committee exists to oversee the activities of the Association and its Executive Board and standing committees, develop agendas for meetings, and assure cohesion with NASP.


The Executive Leadership Committee is comprised of the President, Past President, President Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and NASP Delegate (ex officio).

The Executive Leadership Committee shall:

  • supervise the affairs of the Association between meetings of the Executive Board
  • manage the affairs of the Association within the policies set by the Executive Board
  • review matters on the agendas of meetings of the Executive Board and to make recommendations about these matters
  • negotiate the terms of any contract entered into on behalf of the Association with other associations, publishing services, etc.
  • Meetings do not need to adhere to parliamentary procedure. Minutes of Executive Leadership Committee meetings are recorded but not made available to the membership.
