2010 NASP Standards
NASP Practice Model Self-Assessment
NASP provides an important tool to help you in your professional development as you strive to reach the standards outlined in the NASP Practice Model. This tool is an online self-assessment that asks you to rate yourself on the 10 Domains described in the Practice Model. After completing this self-assessment you will receive a personalized summary report that includes resources available to assist you in reaching your professional development goals. NASP 2012 Convention
The National Association of School Psychology (NASP) Conference will be held on February 21-24, 2012 in Philadelphia, PA. Advocating for the Emotional Well-Being of our Nation's Youth is the theme of the Conference. To learn more about this conference, go to the NASP 2012 Annual Convention page. Highlights for the Conference include: Over 1,000 peer-reviewed sessions; Share tips with those facing similar challenges at Interest Group Meetings ; Learn effective interventions for bullying and more at Documented Session


Advocacy Resources
NASP has made it very easy for everyone to become an advocate for those issues near and dear to our hearts, without having to spend time composing letters or traveling to Washington, DC to speak with your congressional representatives. Check out NASP's advocacy page for form letters on various issues that you can email or send to your congressional representatives in only a few minutes!

NCSPA Early Career Award
At the 2012 NCSPA Fall Conference a drawing will be held to award one NCSPA member who is in his/her first 4 years as a school psychologist with $500 to assist that individual to attend the 2013 NASP Convention in Seattle. The process for selecting the award winner will be overseen by the North Carolina NASP Delegate Representative, Lori Unruh. For more information see the criteria and application for this award.
